Multimedia Video Production began creating this series of product videos for Wolo Manufacturing starting in 2008. Wolo wanted a more effective way to market their automotive products, having previously relied on a print catalog for this purpose, and they felt that an interactive CD-ROM filled with product videos was the best way to generate interest in their car horns, lights, and sirens. MVP cast the on-screen spokesperson featured in the videos from its own Actors' Network of professional talent and filmed all videos in its own professional video studios in front of a green screen. MVP then created a custom-designed backdrop and integrated this into each of the videos to help further advance the Wolo brand. MVP also developed QR codes that allowed prospective customers the ability to use their smartphones to link directly to these videos through their website, with the QR codes being used by Wolo on their printed catalogs as well as certain product packages. Now prospective customers have the opportunity to see and hear the products in action before purchase, the perfect way to generate interest in their extensive line of automotive products.
